STEVEN
H. KRAM is the co-founder of Content Partners, LLC. and serves as
its President and Chief Executive Officer. Content Partners
provides a unique service never before offered to the entertainment
business at large. The business is designed to provide clients with
maximum financial security by purchasing passive, back-end profit
participations in a broad array of market segments--feature films,
television programming and music from individuals, partnerships,
estates and corporations who want the benefit of their income now. Content
Partners, LLC is creating a worldwide market where liquidity is guaranteed
in an uncertain environment. Mr Kram brings decades of entertainment
industry experience to his clients.
For
nearly (2) decades, Mr. Kram served as Executive Vice President and
Chief Operating Officer for the William Morris Agency headquartered
in Beverly Hills, CA. As a key player in the WMA Executive
Management team, Mr. Kram's responsibilities included direct supervision
of the Motion Picture, Television, Commercials, William Morris Consulting,
and Sports Marketing Departments. Mr. Kram was also responsible
for all Business Affairs activities, along with all litigation and
Human Resources. During his 17-year tenure, WMA added hundreds
of talented names to its worldwide roster and further developed its
distinctive approach to packaging and financing for the large and
small screen. Central to the Agency's growth has been a redefinition
of its departmental structure, allowing for the crossover of agents
and clients into various related fields. Mr. Kram and his partners
have enabled WMA clients to evolve from performing status, to star
levels and on to heading production of their own film and television
projects. Such wide-ranging creative movement is the result
of an innovative game plan that permits every area in the Company
to interact. Mr. Kram, himself, has played a number of roles
in the acquisition of new clients and the architecture of their careers,
and in the past supplied leadership to many of the signing teams. He
also served as a Managing Director of William Morris UK, for 10 years
and supervised the operations throughout Europe. Mr. Kram
was also a key player in identifying and executing merger and acquisition
targets for the agency.
In
subsequent moves, Mr. Kram worked to create the William Morris Consulting
Group (WMC), a consortium of WMA executives who provide entertainment-based
business solutions for some of the world's most recognizable brands.
After
graduating from law school in 1981, Mr. Kram served a clerkship with
Justice Theodore R. Kupferman in the New York State Supreme Court
- Appellate Division. In 1982, he joined the American Broadcasting
Company as a Staff Attorney in New York. He was promoted in
1984 to Assistant General Attorney, and in 1986, toGeneral Attorney,
with comprehensive Business and Legal Affairs responsibilities for
the Capital Cities/ABC-owned television and radio stations nationwide. In
this capacity, Mr. Kram had extensive experience in the acquisition
of feature films for broadcast and in the negotiation of talent contracts. Additionally,
he handled or supervised regulatory and FCC matters, as well as all
litigation.
Mr.
Kram is a member of the New York State Bar and is admitted to the
Federal District Court for the State of New York. He is a
member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and is on
the Advisory Board of Directors of the International Television Academy.
